Welcome to Coach Supervision
Trauma-Informed, Compassion-led, Professional Skills Development.
Join me in a space to REFLECT .
To think, feel and experience more from your work.
In service to your clients.
Supervision is a supportive thinking partnership where coaches can pause, gain perspective, and grow in confidence and clarity in their work.
I work with a trauma-informed approach grounded in safety, trust, nervous system awareness, and empowerment.
Understanding how past or ongoing experiences can affect thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and responses to stress. My approach empowers both the coaches I work with and their clients to move at their own pace, with attention to boundaries, regulation, choice, and wellbeing.
There are a few ways to engage in supervision with me:
1:1 private supervision a dedicated private space to explore your practice, clients and wellbeing.
Group supervision a held space for a small number of coaches to reflect and develop through shared experience.
Recovery group supervision a space created specifically for coaches working in the sobriety and recovery niches.
Her wealth of knowledge and experience of trauma informed practice… Has enabled me to better understand how I show up and how best to support my clients.
GP, UkThe Trauma-informed Principles:
Safety
Safety is the foundation of trauma-informed care, involving the intention to create of physical and emotional environments where people feel protected and supported. Using invitational language and never assuming, always asking what safety is for the individual or group.
Trustworthiness & Transparency
Involving open and honest communication and actions. Providing clear and consistent information helps people feel respected and valued, reducing anxiety and fostering a sense of trust.
Peer Support
Peer support is a powerful tool in trauma-informed care. It involves considered developments of groups. As connecting people with others who have had similar experiences can provide comfort, reduce feelings of isolation, and offer support. Your own experience shared in service of the client can be powerful used with discernment.
Collaboration
Collaboration emphasizes the importance of working together by involving those affected by trauma in decisions about pace, programme and content. This approach ensures that care is coordinated and that everyone’s voice is heard and valued. This reduces any perceived heirachy when we meet the person where they’re at.
Empowerment and choice
Empowerment and choice are central to trauma-informed care. By giving people control over their care and respecting their decisions helps people regain a sense of control and fosters resilience.
Cultural, Historical, and Gender Awareness
Awareness of cultural, historical, and gender-related issues is essential, involving understanding and respecting diverse backgrounds and experiences. It requires sensitivity to cultural differences and recognizing the impact of historical and gender-related trauma.
